Species Targeted

Striped Bass

Striped bass are the crown jewel of Cape Cod fishing. Known for explosive topwater strikes and powerful runs, these fish offer the perfect mix of challenge and reward. From slot-sized keepers for the table to trophy-class stripers over 40 inches, the hunt is as exciting as the fight.

Bonito

Fast, aggressive, and beautiful, Atlantic bonito are a thrill for light-tackle and fly anglers alike. Their blistering runs and schooling behavior make for non-stop action when they show up. Hook one, and you’ll see why so many anglers chase them every late summer and fall.

Black Sea Bass

If you’re looking for delicious table fare, Black Sea Bass deliver. These hard-fighting bottom dwellers gather in big numbers every spring and make for steady action on light tackle. Not only are they fun to catch, but they’re also one of the best-tasting fish you can bring home.

False Albacore (Albies)

False Albacore, or “Albies” as locals call them, are pound for pound one of the hardest fighting fish in our waters. They’re notorious for screaming runs, sudden direction changes, and testing the limits of both tackle and angler. Albies aren’t a table fish, but the adrenaline rush they deliver makes them one of the most sought-after sport fish on Cape Cod. Albies typically arrive Late August into September.
